Draw the fractions out. Either with a pie/pizza or with a rectangle. It's a lot easier to understand when you put it into a real world scenario.
Well, we don't know if you were in charge of a single student who might have a certain disability or whether you singled out a single student in a classroom, but either way it doesn't seem like you're in the right career if having to explain something multiple times annoys you enough to resort to name calling...

did you try pictures of physical representations of the fractions? I remember when I was first learning fractions in grade school, I had a hard time getting that until I was shown. with a pie or candy bar or piece of paper.
