I actually think it's rude to compare. Just because she doesn't work as much doesn't mean she doesn't have other stuff on. I get crap all hours at work yet I'm always busy. So yeah don't compare
It should be illegal to go to work with a contagious disease.
Bronchitis isn't a disease; nor is it contagious. At all. It's an inflammation, including having too much mucus around your bronchials. I should know, my mother is a healthcare professional, and I get bronchitis about 1-3 times a year. It causes a cough, but you can't catch it from someone else.
She's rude. I'm sorry OP.
Typical whine-bears, I'm working like fifty hours a week and still manage to have time for a lot of slacking off and playing dota. Meanwhile some of my acquaintances aren't even working are soo busy with having only one lecture a week at university. Fyl
Don't worry Bronchitis isn't contagious
Everyone will bitch about their hours with a ton or with a few...with no respect to anyone else...
my deepest sympathies. I work with a woman who can't stop complaining and only seeks sympathy not to mention she only works 30 hours a week and gets to leave before everyone else does.
that sucks op hopefully you're doing well. Honestly although we know you want her to do something about her bronchitis but as it seems it looks like she will not do something about it. have you checked to see if you can transfer, if so that's an option. it sucks at first but it gets better
Sorry, but you don't seem particularly sympathetic when your co-worker has an illness. It's super shitty that she doesn't cough into her elbow but you're not the one who's ill at this point.

Maybe she has other stuff after work... If not, destroy her. Sorry OP
Plus side is, once a cold hits bronchitis stage, it's usually not contagious anymore. It can start from a cold or allergies and work into a sinus infection then settle into bronchitis, if you don't watch it, you can be down with pneumonia pretty quickly. Mine always starts out as allergies, so it's never contagious. I deal with bronchitis yearly (I have it right now) and I'm suprised she could even manage to work 20 hrs a week. My brain is such a fog, I can't do anything. Luckily, I'm able to stay home until I'm better. Make her wear a mask.
