there's no excuse for poor manners...
always have one of those Co workers lol
Didn't you read? She clearly wouldn't have any time for that either.
Just tell her you don't want to hear about it? I get you don't like her whining, but having experienced both a lovely 39 hour working week and way more intense 3 hours sleep a night deal, I don't get people who somehow equate over-working themselves to moral superiority.
Obvi you're better at time management then her
To be fair to her though, do you know what she has on the go outside of that job? Maybe she has school too and/or another job and/or other commitments. If she doesn't have any of that, then she needs to just shut up and go deal with the bronchitis. I do hate people who refuse to cover their mouth though, so I'd be annoyed for that. But just judging her on only working 19 hours a week and complaining seems unfair if you don't actually know what else she has on the go (I mean maybe you do talk to her enough to know, idk)
It doesn't matter if she covers her cough with bronchitis though. It's not contagious. It just the medical term for an inflammation of our bronchials. It's no big deal/
No, but it's just a good habit. Like what if it's something contagious? In this case it's not, but I'm guessing she probably wouldn't do it for a cold or flu either because either you do it or you don't... doesn't matter what you have it's just habit. I'm asthmatic, I still cover my mouth when I cough because of asthma even though nobody else will get sick from it, because it's a habit to cover my mouth because I'm not gross. Besides it still can send spit flying which is just nasty. I don't want to touch something that just got showered in spit. So yes, either way it's ******* nasty, it's like no effort to just cover your damn mouth and just practice good habits.
I have a feeling this could be about my because I had an almost identical situation. But I work 40+ hours a week and didn't cover my mouth all the time due to my hands being full, or the coughs would come out unexpectedly. The person who wrote this is from Illinois, and where I work we have a few people from Illinois..
There is always going to be people like that..
She could have a second job or just a busy life like you.

Maybe she has other stuff after work... If not, destroy her. Sorry OP
Plus side is, once a cold hits bronchitis stage, it's usually not contagious anymore. It can start from a cold or allergies and work into a sinus infection then settle into bronchitis, if you don't watch it, you can be down with pneumonia pretty quickly. Mine always starts out as allergies, so it's never contagious. I deal with bronchitis yearly (I have it right now) and I'm suprised she could even manage to work 20 hrs a week. My brain is such a fog, I can't do anything. Luckily, I'm able to stay home until I'm better. Make her wear a mask.
