she certainly said yes to vacation.
Vacation's all she ever wanted Vacation, had to get away Vacation's meant to be spent alooooone
Tough call. Depending on the nature and the severity of the refusal, maybe you should have just cancelled her ticket to give you a head start on packing your stuff and moving.
YDI for not knowing what her answer would be... Get on the same page with your significant other.
Maybe she wasn't ready for such a huge change in life. Hopefully with some time, she will come to her senses and you two can have a long and happy marriage :)
Did Francine say no the first time you asked her? :P
You know, they do sell alcohol on planes. Knock back a few cocktails and the flight, as well as life itself, will become wonderful. At least until you sober up. Sorry your plan to purchase your girlfriend's affection with expensive travel failed. :(
Maybe booking the holiday came before the decision to propose. Just sayin'.
I would think it wasn't a plan to purchase her affection so much as it was intended to make the event a truly romantic and memorable one. He clearly did not expect a negative answer or he would not have even asked.
At least it wasn't the first day :P
There are plenty of fish in the sea! Don't give up hope! :D
Communication, people!
What? Communication between OP and his girlfriend put him in this mess. Any more communication between them might result in one throwing the other out of the airborne plane.
I think it was meant as OP should have at least talked to his gf about it before randomly popping the question. If they had had a few conversations beforehand, he would have known how she felt about marriage and could have easily avoided this.

So you broke up with her cause she said no? Maybe she just wasn't ready?
Maybe she broke up with him though.
