Haha, that sucks man. You should have been paying more attention to her though. I'm sure at some point in your friendship her "perfect proposal" was mentioned x.x
she should have been thankful, because that's incredibly sweet. i don't understand the obsession with proposals as long as you're genuinely in love and propose in a way that shows you care.
who ever put YDI is stupid and she's being a selfless jerk
Some people are obsessed with the classic one knee thing. I think this is amazingly ronantic!
MY NAME IS ABBY!
256, I have a small family, just my dad, mom, brother, and i. that's it. my girlfriend is really close to them, so maybe if the OP was having a bunch of people over as a sort of family get together thing and invited the girlfriend as well
I've only known one other person who had a fiance who bitched about the WAY her boyfriend proposed. She turned out to be insane, and they ended up splitting up. If she's seriously going to cry because you didn't propose how she wanted you to, it's time to break up.
I agree. she's an insanely selfish & petty.
That was my first thought, if she is the type of girl that wants a fairy tale propose, she will want a fairy tale marriage and he will not be able to keep up with it
she's clearly a little mentally unstable... maybe this is a sign you shouldn't spend the rest of your life with this person
I don't think she's mentally unstable. I think she's a selfish, greedy, ungrateful bitch and she doesn't deserve him. OP sounds like a great guy.
Run away man. That's a pretty spectacular way of proposing. It really is. And if she can't accept that then she obviously never outgrew playing with Barbies. I would seriously question whether she loves you or she loves the role you fill in her fantasy of what she wants her life to be like. She will never be happy until she understands that life isn't a fantasty world and until that happens you won't be happy either. So you might as well just get out now and look for someone who loves you for you.
"How could you write my name in the sky with a SNJ-2 when you KNOW I wanted it written in the sky by a SNJ-3!?" Dump her.
Really doubt it was smoke as much as a banner.
Wow how ungrateful can one get? Most girls DREAM of being proposed to like that. Seriously instead of crying that it wasn't exactly what you wanted, think about how thoughtful your bf was to do something like that! I think what you did was awesome, don't let her make you think otherwise!
I was thinking the same but also wondering...is that a yes or a no?

Show it anywayI have a really hard time getting a lecture in classy from someone who's profile name is "lovesdicks". I personally think that was an awsome way to propose. Also dump that crazy bitch, she doesn't deserve the perfect life she thinks she does.
wow #9 ur an asshole, and who are u to use the word "classy"? look at ur username
choke and die on dicks, bitch
haha go die. YOU MY FRIEND sound more like white trash trailer park than ANYBODY else here. so do the world a favor. Please STFU. from, minichamp!
How about you have a nice warm cup of Stfu? Please explain to me how a plane flying over head is trashy. It was so sweet and thoughtful. If you want classy change your username.
I'm guessing u're one of those ppl who has no idea what classy actually is so u pretend in front of other people. I'm also guessing that ur perfect proposal would be a nice restaurant and u find the ring in ur champagne glass?
