Today, I had to take a drugs test at work. Later, I found out it was my fiancé's mother who called our hotline. Her reason: I work till 6 pm, her "baby" should eat before that, but he can't cook, so I should quit my job. He is 35. And he thinks I should apologize for upsetting her at dinner. FML

OP here: Result - negative. Why I didn't know about the cooking issue - well, it wasn't an issue for the last 4 years when we lived abroad. It seems it is a recent skill loss, like since we came back 3 months ago and found a place to live near his parents.

Welp, I think it's about time you pack up shop and head on out of there.

Eeer. It's not FYL, it's F that guy. If you are not closer to him on such a thing, there is not much chance you'll ever be on anything.

he must be great in bed if youre still with him! or at least useful in some way shape or form...

I'm missing something. The drug test was because of the mother's call? Blatant attempt to get the OP fired to be home instead to cook for man child baby? Have I understood correctly?

You need a new fiancé before that lunatic becomes your mother in law.

Find the nearest hills, moutains or forest, and run towards them as fast as you can, and never look back. If this is just a tiny glimpse into your relationship then I seriously fear for your future.

If her "baby" is old enough to get married, but doesn't know how to do one of the most basic adult things, she has failed as a parent. I have two sons aged 17 and 26. The older one is already out of the nest and the younger one will be at some point. Both know how to cook, clean, sew a button, pump gas, and balance a checkbook.

I don't care how good the sex is... DO NOT marry that boy!!
