Today, I had to take a drugs test at work. Later, I found out it was my fiancé's mother who called our hotline. Her reason: I work till 6 pm, her "baby" should eat before that, but he can't cook, so I should quit my job. He is 35. And he thinks I should apologize for upsetting her at dinner. FML

OP here: Result - negative. Why I didn't know about the cooking issue - well, it wasn't an issue for the last 4 years when we lived abroad. It seems it is a recent skill loss, like since we came back 3 months ago and found a place to live near his parents.

@#102, you need to chill out with your responses. Everyone in entitled to their opinions as you are, but we do not have to side with yours. You seem extremely full of yourself, cocky, and pretty sexist. I am never one to condone the whole, run and leave as fast as you can thing unless there is a form of abuse or a possibility of it and the mother has done that in a sense here. OP you need to seriously think if this "Boy" is indeed the right one for you. Don't forget, you marry into a family and if the mother did this to you now, think of what she is capable of doing to try and manipulate you for her "Little Baby Boy!" in the future!!!
