get a job, grow up and move out. that'll improve your life greatly!
its not bad living with your parents as long as you arent just leeching off them. did op ever say he didnt have a job or was just using his parents money? maybe op was just saving up to buy a nicer first house instead of an apartment
you know what bugs me most. when the economy went bad, the recent college grads were laid off first... so many of my friends that went to college are living with their parents right now... hehe I have to say I work with the most educated waiters and waitresses ever. we have two teachers, a neuroscientist, web designer, & a guy with his masters in business. we waited tables to put ourselves through college... screw the 18 year olds looking for their first job... us 24 year olds have past experience... like when we were 18 working at our first job.
My parents want me to live with them until I get married, but I guess it's the difference in cultures...
If I were the girl, I would have thought it would've been kinky. ;)
Ur not really late for leaving time
24 isn't that old to still be living with your parents.. In America, the govt supports that by giving you until 26 to be on your parents' healthcare plan. It's not that awful.. Now mind you, i was moved out by 19 and i was married, bought a brand new car and bought a house by age 21 but everyone doesn't do that..
Feel sorry for you OP, money is hard at the moment so not moving out yet probably isn't your fault!

Right now, lots of 24 year-olds live with their parents. Normally I'd be with #2 and say get a job, but obviously the job market is pretty poor at the moment.
I don't really think that would be considered a sleep over when you're that old :P
