LOL, I'm 25 & my boyfriend can sleep over whenever he wants to.
Um, I'm 15 and I am allowed to have girls sleep over? That's kind of sad that they don't trust you. Even when I was like 13 they let girls sleep over XD
please, get out of your parents house. i'm sorry to say but some girls don't find living with your parents (over 18) attractive. its a different story if you can't or don't have money but besides that, cut the umbilical cord and move out to a new apartment that you own and can bring girls over whenever you want (not needing premission)
How's this a YDI, 24 living with your parents is bad, but if he is going to medical school or law school, then leaves when or he is 27, and gets a job that pays $30/h, who is going to laugh now?!
You really shouldn't feel too bad about that. The economy is crap (like so many people have said) so if you're only 24 (an age when a LOT of people are still in college anyway) it's not THAT embarassing. Good on you for respecting your parents....and ultimately the girl because it would have made for some awkwardness the next morning. Plus, just to point out...we're a new generation, my friend. According to psychologists/sociologists, we're Twixters - a generation which is generally ALLOWED to take their time before being thrust into the world. Trust, you're not alone in this so if the girl thinks it's lame, she's either uneducated or spoiled and has unreasonable expectations.
yeah... dude, I'm 23 and my parents could give a **** less... then again, I'm only here because I lost my job and then my wife walked out on me less than a week after that. so... FML.
I'm a girl and i think living with your family is normal. I guess it's the difference in culture. If you have a good relationship with your family, why would you move out?

Right now, lots of 24 year-olds live with their parents. Normally I'd be with #2 and say get a job, but obviously the job market is pretty poor at the moment.
I don't really think that would be considered a sleep over when you're that old :P
