Today, I have a heart condition that causes migraines and fainting, so I take salt tablets to stop the fainting. The migraines can lead to a stroke, so I have medication for them. The medication has a side effect: fainting. And to avoid migraines, I should avoid salt. FML

That's beyond ******-up. Get well soon, OP.

You're just ******. :/ Maybe DocBastard has wisdom for you.

OP, best of luck. Migraine with multiple complications really sucks; I know, am having one now :( Neurodoc and DocBastard, thanks for your thoughtful (and articulate!) info.

Oh man, OP I feel for you. I have the exact same condition on top of anxiety attacks. I don't really know what to tell you except for the fact that try to start eating healthy and regular meals everyday. That will help to keep you from passing out. May not help completely but, at least you won't be keeling over everyday. . A for the migraines.. take an aspirin? Or something. You're doctor may be able to prescribe you a dose of a common headache medicine with with codeine or morphine in it as well. But, i wish you the best of luck OP with the healing process.

Oh no. Please don't take codeine or morphine or any opiates for migraines. It is counter productive.

Yeah, you lost me after the first sentence as well. Thanks a lot for confusing me. Hope you find a solution to your problem, though. :/
