Today, I heard a teenage boy ask his friend, "So, is it, like, November in Australia too?" This is the future of America. FML

To answer the teenagers question: No, we have a special month called Kangaroocember, where we all celebrate Australia by finding kangaroos and riding in their pouches. ...OF COURSE it's November in Australia. Just like the rest of the world. >.<

... I can only hope that the boy was trying to refer to the weather difference, and not the actual month, because otherwise this is just another crushing blow to my faith in humanity.

We are the ones in the future mate.. 1 day ahead!

8 - it didn't say he KNEW where Australia was..for all we know this dumbass guy thinks its a state...

8- thats true but if the american education system focused on other countries besides itself theyd be more informed. (ie. i live in Canada and an online friend in Oregon thought we didnt have our own money but Euros). xD

I see where he's coming from: the actual seasons are opposite over there. It's a little stupid, but far better than people in the US thinking that THEY won the 2nd world war, that Europe is a country and many other things...

This is a valid question. Though everyone is on the same month, the temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere are of the exact opposite season as they are in in the Norther Hemisphere. Example: If he's living in North America where it is freezing cold right now and he can't take it, a trip to Australia would be perfect, since they are just hitting there warm season :)
