Today, I introduced my girlfriend to my parents. After she left, they told me they disapprove of her because of her supposedly lower social class. Now I have to either dump her or lose the money they set aside to pay for my university tuition. FML

Keep her. Pay for your own college. Earn your big boy pants. [and get laid!]

Can't be a pussy your whole life. Nut up. Parents might even respect that. Not Immediately but later on. Gotta prove them wrong. An $ don't mean shit. Money Is easy to get btw. As long as work hard.

Don't dump her. It's not about the girl, it's about your parents controlling your life. Even if this girl isn't the "one", what are you going to do when your parents do it the next time, or the time after that? You have to start saying no eventually, and now seems like a really good time to start.

Your parents are dicks. Pick the girl.

Sad... You're parents are shallow jerks dude. Just get a job, and pay for your own tuition. You can't let your parents control your life forever

Just pretend you've dumped her, stay with her and take the money?

They sound like total snobs. You could lie to them about breaking up with her and if you are still together when you are done with college than tell them or act like you got back together.

Girls are a dime a dozen they are paying so you can get a good education what girl will do that but if you really like just say you dumped her and still get the college fund why loose out on both

I wish my dad had had someone like your parents looking out for him. He married twice to two different women from lower social (and financial) standing. Both times they divorced him--and took him for all they could get. Currently, his second x is asking for more money in that divorce. Any money she gets affects my tuition. Perhaps your parents are looking out for you, op, so that this girl does not get money from you (or your parents) that she didn't earn.
