Today, I jokingly asked my boyfriend to marry me, because it's a leap year. He is now avoiding me for fear that I was serious. FML

That would be awesome to only have to remember your anniversary every 4 years

Sounds like you guys need to have a talk

Some things should never be joked about. Commitment for a man is one of them.

I don't understand the specialness of a marriage in a leap year..

They would only have to celebrate their anniversary every 4 years.

Their is a tradition that it is socially acceptable for a woman to propose on leap day. There is a whole movie about it.

37, yeah if that woman's main goal is to destroy society and tradition as we know it. Guys **** up alot of things. Let them get proposing.

Oh wow lol, so that's what that movie "Leap Year" is about. And I'm pretty sure it's the movie you were talking about. Not one for chick flicks..but appreciate the reply haha.

Did you pretend you were joking because he said no...

Stalk him... That will fix everything, and call and text him non-stop.
