FYL for being raised in a christian family. I'm not saying christianity is a bad thing; putting God before your beloved ones (especially close family) is, though. So your mother follows the 'rules' of the Bible blindly, rather than supporting her own son who already has a lot to deal with, being different in a society like this. She should be encouraging you for staying true to yourself and being brave enough to tell her. I really hope for you she reconsiders. Being rejected by your own family is the worst thing ever. I know.

I can only hope you mean that the shock made her drop the pan in surprise (not out of ill intent), and you both got splashed but not badly hurt or anything. If you mean that she splashed you wih the hot grease intentionally just because of your sexual orientation, it is a billon times more FYL. D:
