Today, I learned that my doctor lost all of my immunization records. I can't start law school without them. FML

I wonder if you can sue him? I guess now you'll never know.

Maybe you could get the records from your undergrad institution? That's what I had to do when I started grad school, since my doctor back home had since retired. Good luck!

This really sucks because because there's not much you can do to get them back.

I smell a lawsuit. Sue the **** out of your irresponsible doctor.

He isn't immune from the law you know.

My doc office did the same to me last month. You have to get a blood test to determine what you have and also go to your old highschool and get the records. Its a pain in the butt. Fyl indeed.

I think this is the largest ratio of FYLs to YDIs I've seen on a FML. Most high schools keep those records. Since you were going to be entering law school, it's probably been a few years, but it's worth a try to find them. Edit: Comment above me beat me to the high school suggestion.

Interestingly, there are arguably worse scenarios that have made the site, and have a closer YDI-to-FML ratio. In a perfect world...

Very true. I wonder what goes through some of the raters mind at the moment they choose. O.o

I agree that this sucks, but someone somewhere has a copy. Furthermore, you should too. -tsk tsk- I always get an extra when I update mine, just to be safe. Good luck though.

Wow, that doctor sure is responsible as hell. -_- I'm guessing that you don't have copies, so ... just see if your other school(s) have them. Good luck!
