Today, I learned why so much money has been missing from my credit card account. My boyfriend stole it, and has been buying toys for his 3 children. I never knew he had kids. FML

This is one of those situations where a 'dump him' is well deserved. Change your credit card information, lock him out, and file charges against him for whatever he stole from you. Manipulative thieves deserve little sympathy.

For your sake, I really hope you hadn't known him that long.

Dump him, file police charges and take him to small claims court. What a loser!!!!

Ah the thieving liar. Usually I wouldn't say this: dump his ass. However, it applies in this case. Hope you can get the fraudulent charges credited back to your account OP.

I'm pretty sure this is why they invented background checks. Either that, or Facebook. Whether or not the information that he had children would be there, I don't know, but it would have been worth a shot.

Time to relieve him of his nether regions!

How does one ever become involved with such a loser who unfortunately has already reproduced?

I worked retail. We lose as merchants if we don't check the ID of the person using the card. Retract the charges, with fraud you could pay 0-50 dollars of that. And dump him. Less you are ok with him having other kids. For all you know he is paying child support on them, hence the stealing, or will cheat on you to make a 4th kid. He needs to keep himself in his damn pants! Or in just one woman's pants.

OP, why didn't you or your bank/company notice abnormal charges to your card? You should have been on top of that. And for the idiots who share their bank information with their boyfriends/girlfriends, all I can say is YDI when they take your cash. That's not information you should be sharing. You want to share funds, get a separate joined account and keep your own private. It's better to be safe rather than sorry.
