I wish I had that problem lol
To much detail is now a bad thing? The teacher must not like you because thats an invalid reason to get a bad grade....
Umm....looks like someone needs to analyze that teachers degree because that's pretty shitty. Especially if you were gonna get an A
This has happened to me before as well! I'm just going to go with jealousy from the teacher, because who lowers a grade when you put in extra effort? That's just crazy. They just wish they had writing skills like you haha.
The truth is there is such a thing as too much detail. It can confuse the actual purpose of the paper and sound more like rambling for length rather than actual necessary information. One should try to get their point across in a concise but informed way. Only include critical details and explanations.
I'm sorry, but maybe OP didn't ramble. You don't know what happened. But I'm sorry for making you write a paragraph to my response. Have a nice day, as well as making other people feel nice. ☺ P.S. I never said there was no such thing as too much detail, all I was trying to do was make OP feel better...
Maybe OP didn't put too much detail in, maybe they did. The point is, 90% of the comments have immediately assumed OP can do no wrong, seem to have completely missed the fact that detail is NOT always good and are giving potentially damaging advice as they're mostly telling OP to just ignore or have a go at the teacher rather than considering if they can and need to improve. Also, 4 simple sentences is hardly a massive, time consuming paragraph.
Your teacher needs to be reviewed -_-. Students are usually downgraded due to lack of analytical skills..!
And parents wonder why their children fail in school so often...

Honestly you need to talk to someone about that because you don't want to end up with a crappy grade because your teachers an idiot.
I am saddened by the American school system.
