Today, I went on an a date with a guy I met online. We were waiting in line at Starbucks when he turned to me and said, "Do you want anything?" Just before I was about to answer, he practically shoved in front of me and paid for himself. The cashier looked more horrified than I did. FML

Today, I went out for coffee with my sister and my crush. I spent the majority of the date flirting with my crush, and when he dropped us off at home, I told him I had fun on our date. He looked at me surprised and said he'd thought I'd tagged along on his date with my sister. FML

Was he supposed to say yes? He doesn't have to be so blunt, but then again all he wanted was some coffee when some girl he clearly has no interest in tries to be clever and ask him out. I don't expect every girl to say yes, why should you expect him to say yes?

Sometimes you have to accept some people won't be interested, no matter what tricks you got up your sleeves. Seriously, it reminds me of all the people who asked me out in hs, when I already made my disinterest known. And not because I'm a condescending arsehole, but because I didn't want to date children, even if some of them were my friends. And if I was trying to order something and that was the price, I probably would've said 'good day to you, miss' and left. Better luck next time
