Today, I moved in with my new roommate. She's a vegetarian, and won't let me put my meat in the fridge because it will "contaminate her food". FML

OP shouldn't have to spend extra money on a new fridge, just because of her roommate! It's OP's fridge too! There is nothing wrong with being a vegetarian, but the roommate should respect the fact that not everyone is a vegetarian too.

I know how you feel, I'm so disappointed where my new roommate won't let me put my meat. She doesn't understand that her "free" rent isn't free.

just use the bottom shelf so it cant fall onto her food and make sure its in packaging and if she cant deal with that shes WAAAAY too uptight
