Today, I noticed my nephew has blue eyes, freckles and dimples which don't run in my family or my sister's husband's family, but they do run in my husband's family. FML

Run a DNA test on both. Then kick ass if your poor sweet nephew is your stepson.

Maybe you're over reacting? Sorry :(

I'm sure your husband isn't the only blue eyed freckled and dimpled man in the world so unless you have more proof don't jump to conclusions

Its also in common with a quarter of the population doesn't mean she banged your husband. Don't jump to conclusions that's how marriages and families break up.

Those genes could have been common in either your family or your sister's husband's family a long time ago. Just because no one in your immediate family has these traits doesn't mean they aren't capable of having child with these traits. I mean, you must have heard about the black couple who had no white family (that they knew of) but managed to conceive a white child. That and my fiancé is the whitest guy i know, you wouldn't even know he's from Mexican decent. It's in there somewhere, just far back there.

Recessive genes, they can be in your family for generations without showing up. also if its a baby they tend to have dimples that go away and blue eyes that will change color later
