You should try to make him stop smoking weed. Money is not gonna help him much if he smokes that much weed.

Well, you have to respect him for being so blunt.
You can always find another ride but he's obviously got a problem bad enough to make him turn down $150, so I'd say it's more F his life than yours.
How was he enabling? He offered him money, not drugs, and OP would have no control over how the money would be spent.

OP, for your safety and everyone else's never use him again for transportation - The risk is too high. Use Uber or some other service instead. Driving stoned is like driving drunk - Illegal, dangerous, and totally irresponsible.
