OP, you should leave him because he doesn't appeal to your desire of romantic behavior. Not because he wouldn't buy you flowers. While buying someone flowers is a romantic action, it is not romance itself. Real romance is being able to show your significant other that you value, love, and treasure them by saying "I love you" and something like making them breakfast in bed because they usually make your breakfast in the morning. Romance doesn't always have to be materialistic. Although it is nice to get flowers every once in a while - it should be when you least expect it. You'll find that you appreciate it a little bit more :)

You don't need flowers or romance to run a relationship. I'm still like that to my guy sometimes but it's rare. Most of the other time I'm super sarcastic and poke jokes about everything and he loves the shit out of me.
