Today, I packed my bags and left for the airport. When I passed through security, the X-ray scanner discovered that my cat had also come along for the ride. FML

This sounds like something my cat would do. I can't imagine your cat didn't make enough noise for you to notice though.

I believe it. Even when my cat's "meowing" he's still silent. He opens his mouth but nothing comes out. I've never heard him growl or hiss, even at the vet's. The only noise I ever hear him make is purring.

I had a cat that got into the dryer and my mom didn't know, she turned it on, and heard a loud thud, so she turned it off and opened the door, and out jumps my cat! Lol

Silly, but cute cat. It was probably sleeping in there. If that would happen to one of my cats, I would have noticed right away by the non-stop meowing.
