109, your ignorance is showing. Just because you call it Italy...doesn't mean other countries call it the same. For example, in Italy...they call it Italia. But I guess they're wrong since that's not what we call it. Oh...and the person you just questioned? They're from Italy.

Why thank you for the language lesson 127. It never occurred to me that Italia might be Italian for Italy. In all my years I have never heard Italy called Italia...so I wrongfully assumed the person was just an ignorant American. Since they are from Italy though...should they not know that Italian soda is an American drink? It was created in the states...not Italy.

Hey...everyone makes mistakes...and I can't keep digging because you just took the shovel. It's a well known fact among the international community that as a rule Americans are among the most ignorant people on the planet. You act like a spoiled naive teenage girl. In fact my teenage daughters are more mature than you. I did admit I made a mistake...and I did not say Americans are stupid. I said they are ignorant...there is a huge difference that someone your age with your supposed life experience and education should not need to be made aware of. I have no trouble at all saying the majority of Americans are ignorant because I have the experience to prove it. I know many, many people who have experienced it, myself included...and even talked to Americans who have admitted it. McDonalds is happy to give it to you with no ice. But it is stored at room temperature so the quality of the product diminishes. Also, free refills for sweet tea in most locations.

Yup i agree, i never get ice because it waters down the taste and gives you less pop(soda)
