Hey wouldn't joke around like that. Next thing ya know you'll wake up one day and ya really will be deaf. I believe the word that goes along with what I'm saying is Jinxed? lol
Wow! I don't know why people are so afraid of door to door salesman. I read an earlier FML where someone resorted to hiding and the salesman wouldn't go away. Just confront them and say no. It would not be the first time they heard no and it certainly won't be the last time, unless of course everyone becomes so scared of them like you are.
Need more qualifications to get jobs theme se days
you shouldn't pretend to be deaf
OP, I can understand where you're coming from. I have a really hard time saying no to people, especially if it's for a good cause like a donation or something. The last time I fell for it, I felt really bad, and decided to make myself a rule that I would never give out money at the door. That way, I can just say "I'm sorry, but it's a personal rule for me that I never give out money at the door, but I'm happy to take your information so I can look into it later."
it would have been more effective if you just pretended you werent home and didnt answer the door.
Thats bad man...
That sucks.

Good God. They're evolving.
Pretended to be deaf, end up looking dumb... Sounds about fair.
