Today, I pulled up to a red light. My ex was in the next car, and my car's windows are so tinted that you can't see through them, so I flipped him off. I was driving my mom's car. FML

Okay.... What's the point of flipping them off if they can't see you? Just saying

Well did he see you? On the other hand, tinted windows and ones that aren't tinted look completely different. YDI

Exes are exes for a reason, but YDI if you can't own what you do.

You can flip him off. You can delete his number. But you can NEVER unsuck his dick.

u r assuming op is girl. what if op was dominant male in the relation? then it will come out to 'u cant get ur dick unsucked' :) just giving second opinion.

With a name like queenbitch i doubt he'd be the dominant partner in the relationship.

but.... he'd be the Queen.... which is a position of power....

I don't know why everyone dislikes this... I thought it was amusing

So OP thought she was driving her car that has tinted windows so she gave finger to her ex thinking he won't see it. but as it turns out she was driving her mothers car which apparently doesnt have tint so her ex saw it! I mean wow if you cant make out tint by looking at glass but need to recall who owns the car to realize it. BIG YDI

Was there really a need to rewrite the whole fml?

i was actually reconstructing it for my own self to understand what had happened :)

Actually thanks because I didn't understand it (not sarcasm)

well at least he knows how you really feel about him.

I don't think anyone has taken into account the fact that OP wrote the FML after realizing it was their moms car. They might've wanted the ex to see and did it thinking it was their own car with no tinting. Then after pulling away, they realized their mistake...

No, the point of the fml is that OP's car is the one with tinted windows and they forgot they weren't in their own car, so the windows weren't tinted.

Your windows sound like they're illegally tinted. The cops should ticket you for this because it's dangerous to them. (It's dangerous if they pull over a car with extra-dark windows because they can't see if you're pulling a weapon on them.) You may want to take a razor blade and remove the tint.

I see this FML went right over your head

I have dark tinted windows and have never been pulled over for it

The laws vary from state to state. We got one of our vehicles at a police auction and the windows are too dark to see in. Driving through IN we almost got a ticket for it. The only reason we didn't is because his partner let him know that it's legal in KY so they couldn't ticket us.

So what you're saying is a tint level on a window is illegal, but in having this tint it maybe more likely for a cop to not want to deal with pulling me over :)

Congratulations, you just won lamest comment of the day

Depends on where you are. I'm in Michigan, same as the OP, and my boyfriend's old car had tinted windows and he got ticketed for it.

That's a lame comment, but it crossed my mind as well. I got pulled over once in Idaho for windows tinted 20% too dark (the cop has a little thing that checks the percentage of the tinting). I just blamed it on my ex and played the dumb girl card, promising to fix them right away....yeah right. As for the actual Fml, it sounds like something I'd do. After I got a new car, it was hard to adjust to untinted windows for a little while.
