So let's see here. You were in love with this guy for months. You spend a little time with him and because he's "boring" he is a ********? What kind of obscure reasoning is that? Who was it that decided you are the one that determines who all is deemed boring? Just because he is boring to you doesn't mean that he could be the most interesting person to someone else. It does make her seem pretty awful for thinking he's a ********, though. If she had left that part out, I wouldn't think she was shallow. Being "boring" doesn't make him a bad person (for all we know, he could be a very good person), but I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing for her to be attracted to "more interesting" people. And it sounds like OP decided that she "loved" him before she'd really talked to him, so nevermind...OP does sound pretty shallow.
