As many of you know, I don't go in for poking fun of the fat people and I have had some arguments with other commenters over it. And you can claim it is on par with pouncing on drug addicts, alcoholics, etc (being fat doesn't impair you to a degree where you can hurt others). But it's not the same, because we have at least 2 categories - fat due to illness or fat due to overeating. The first category can't help it, and the second one is moving the US economy forward much faster than the stick people, some examples: 1) More groceries! Those chains are in the black because of the fat people. Just look at OP, she is buying out the whole damned ice cream section! PROFITS... 2) Greater tendency for health problems. The doctors are cashing in, and the labs, and the hospitals, and the pharmaceuticals. When the OP eats enough of that Ice Cream, her arteries are going to clog and that will result in hospital fees, blood work, doctor's fees, surgical costs and RXs. 3) Therapists! Just look here, obviously this lady needs some intensive therapy if she gives two ***** about some asshole boyfriend that dumped her 2.5 years ago. She could keep some Dr. in summer vacations for years to come. And then she will be bolstering the economy of the vacation community as well. 4) Bigger cars that cost more! Fat people don't fit in a Kia Accent peeps. The bloating alone from eating a cart full of Ice Cream will make it impossible to mount the driver's seat of that Toyota Echo. 5) Jobs! The weight loss industry employs thousands upon thousands - and those snake oil salesmen are propping up dozens of industries (real estate, shipping, packaging, advertising, etc etc etc). I could go on and on. But, OP, I have to tell you I'm not buying this whole *party* concept. I say pack on the pounds!!! It's just more of you to love. And they don't call them love handles for nothing, what is your man going to grab on to while he is pounding you in the ass? Don't be ashamed, you go ahead and eat every last drop of that Ice Cream no matter what these insensitive bastards may say!

So what, don't let him make you feel bad! You really shouldn't care what he thinks of you now. It was shallow of him to dump you for being fat and cruel for him to tell you that was the reason. At least you took it as motivation to get healthier, so next time you see him just ignore his dumb ass.

I don't undestand some of you people. Maybe her ex had been telling her to lose weight and she hadn't or possibly she didnt need to lose all that weight. Maybe she was only really 40 pounds over weight and decided to lose the extra 28 that she didnt necessarily need to. They both have some growing up to do. Her ex needs to stop being a physical attraction dick and the OP needs to let a freakin' grudge go! But by all means, congrats on the excellent weight loss.
