Today, I ran sound for my ex's wedding rehearsal since I was the only sound tech in town. Her dad was late for the rehearsal, so the pastor had me to walk her down the aisle. FML

Today, I had the rehearsal for two of my friends' wedding. My ex-husband is also in the wedding, and I just found out we have to walk down the aisle together 'for height reasons'. FML

Today, I was the organist for a wedding. I had practiced for weeks, rehearsed with the choir many times and spent hours stressing. During the wedding march, the electric organ malfunctioned, adding on layers of random notes I didn't play. Guess who got yelled at afterwards. FML

Today, my band informed me that our gig this afternoon was actually a wedding. Whose wedding? My ex-wife's, along with the guy she cheated on me with. For their first dance, I had to sing what used to be our song. FML

Today, I was the maid of honor at my sister's wedding. I was the first one to walk down the aisle, where I managed to trip over a wire, shutting off the music and falling on my face. My family cheered and took pictures. FML

At least it wasn't the real thing.... Seems kind of weird the pastor would make the sound tech guy stand in, though. Oh well, I'm not a pastor.

REALLY?! I hightly doubt that this was real. I mean even if the father was running late, there are still several other candidates for the bride than her fiance's ex, unless she's a total orphan and has no friends. And another thing, you deserved it for keeping such close relations to your ex.

Think of it from her perspective: My ex was running sound for my wedding because he was the only sound tech in town. Dad was running late for the rehearsal, so the pastor had my ex walk me down the aisle. He told me I smelled nice. FML
