Today, I realized I'm missing my diamond earrings. After ripping apart the vacuum bag and exhausting all other options I'm pretty sure my new cat ate them. I'm going to go sift through several days worth of cat shit now. FML

'A diamond in the rough' doesn't even begin to cover this. And all those scene songs about diamonds and pussy now have context, don't they?

Why would a cat eat diamond earrings?? That does not make any sense, unless of course you starved and depraved your cat of food and water, and he thought to take vengeance :D I dont know I could be wrong

I highly doubt your cat ate the earrings, cats eat some weird stuff (I know, I just got a kitten last week) but small pointy objects that would hurt going down their esophagus aren't high on the list. You're going to be one sad egg when you don't find it in your litter box and it turns up someplace in the carpet.

Yeah, my cat chews on cardboard and paper but certainly not earrings.

My opinion: If you weren't so bloody vain you'd have bought some costume jewelry and wouldn't be sifting through shit. Viva la craft stores...

Was anyone else hoping she was gonna say she was wearing them the whole time...?

The cat ate your earrings? You are totally full of shit.

Cats don't do that. Ever. Either that FML is as fake as it can get, or someone stole your stuff, so you gotta do something else altogether, looking for the thief, not sifting through cat poo.

I have a kittie who is always chewing on weird things, including earrings. I have 6 in one ear and 4 in the other and I lose them often around the house. I have learned to buy cheap earrings instead of looking everywhere for my expensive ones. But when I am doing my hair, I put my earrings on the dresser and next thing I hear is my cat chewing on something. I run over to him and have to force the earrings out of it's mouth. I don't know why it would always chew on them. I have been more careful with earrings and like objects since. But hopefully you found your earrings and didn't need to sift through cat poo.

You diserve it for not cleaning out your ****** cat's litter box for several days you disgusting bitch.
