Today, I realized that my coach doesn't close the door and the blinds to perform half-naked body checks (to make sure his team is in shape) on anyone else but me. FML

report him...that behavior sounds suspicious

I could be wrong, but I think sexual abuse goes quite a lot further than simply "FML"...

what the hell sport are you playing?! if insaw my coach take off his shirt, it would give me nightmares. I've never heard of a sport where you have ondo anything like that. are you in Europe or something? dude from Canada said they don't do it there, and the us sure wouldn't do that, so where are you at?

Dear murder of cows , Did someone drop you as a baby? What the hell is your issue? Have you been a deprived child that simply can't appreciate creative ppl like our dear friends PLEXICO and INTOXICUNT , who incidentally should get discovered and join the ranks of hollywoods best comedians ?

I think this is a fake post. 1, they can't write out what's going on. 2, everyone in the locker room knows what's going on. did they just drop in for a random body check. 3, sounds like poster got wishful thinking syndrome. he's fantasizing ( emphasis on sizing) as to what the coach will do when the blinds are drawn. if coach wants to body check, they just stand by the showers. there coaches, not preists!

why does everyone find this so poorly worded? it's not hard to understand a double negative, people. anyway. this is way more serious than FML. you need to talk to the school board asap. this is unacceptable, and your coach needs to be fired or at least disciplined.

what's unacceptable? that the coach wants his team to be in shape? the op said nothing of molestation... didn't even hint at it... you idiots are so quick to follow trends and jump to conclusions..

People are really misinterpreting this. #83 got it right. It hasn't anything to do with "creepiness" or whatever. It doesn't say that the coach only performs the checks on the OP and not the rest of the team. It says the coach only closes the blinds on the doors when he does it on the OP. Meaning the whole team gets the checks, but because OP's body is so out-of-shape (I'm assuming?), the coach closes the blinds on the door because it's so embarrassing. Which means closing the blinds makes the checks waaaay more embarrassing for the OP because he's getting special treatment. Doubtless the other boys think the OP's got something to hide...

Maybe we are all reading this wrong. Is it possible the FML is that the coach thinks she is the only one who is so hideous and flabby that he didn't want her to be embarrassed with open door/window. Because unless the OP left out the punch line where he starts jerking off in front of her or grabbing her naked half-body, I'm not sure I understand the point of closing the door or the blinds...

God damn the OP's unclear post. I've been trying to figure out which way he was trying to go with this, still can't figure it out.

As a social worker, if a client who was under 18 told me this (only using the words the poster used), I would report it to the child welfare department. An adult singling out a child and taking them to a private location to inspect their body, even for a coach to do so, is at best inappropriate. Adults who work with children, as far as I know, are trained as they are mandated reporters in every state in the US. Therefore, they should know they are overstepping their bounds. Even the appearance of misconduct can ruin someone's reputation, so care always has to be taken when working with children. Even if the coach is only trying to spare the poster embarrassment, the coach is on thin ice because other people are going to look at this behavior as suspect. Sexual abuse does not necessarily have to involve sexual contact, but the use of a child for sexual gratification of an adult, which implies many contexts. I am familiar with the laws of California, so I can't speech to Texas, but I imagine the laws are similar. Regardless, this should be investigated by a professional, who can determine if it is indeed abusive. If the poster is an adult, then hopefully they now decline these private sessions and should consider speaking to a supervisor regarding this matter.
