I'm sorry, but who the hell are you to say if something is scheisse or not? Were you there? No. I do not find it at all hard to believe that OP didn't smell anything wrong with their loofah. It does not mean they are F'ed up, it means they don't stick their nose in the sponge. And why would they? That would just be weird. Or maybe OP just can't smell anything. You cannot say something they can't help or control is their fault. So no, unless they had actually seen the roommate cleaning the toilet with their loofah sponge, they probably wouldn't have noticed anything.
