Today, I really had to pee so I took the only stall that was available in the bathroom: the handicapped stall. A girl in a wheelchair came in seconds later and cursed at me for taking her designated spot. FML

The handicapped chick needs to calm the hell down. It's not like she personally owns the stall. She's not royalty and being handicapped doesn't mean she is above waiting her turn like anyone else. What a bitch. You should have cussed her out back.

WTF are you talking about? This has nothing to do with equal rights and men aren't even drafted in the USA. The situation is not equal. There is only one stall/cubicle/whatever available for the wheelchair-bound person. If they were all wheelchair accessible, the woman would have to wait in line like everyone else. That would be equal. As it is, that woman should not have cursed OP out. The stall is not reserved like a handicapped parking spot is. You were within your rights to use it in this situation.

Not really about the FML, but I would say he was referring to the fact that although no, there is not a draft in place right now, males still have to fill out a draft card when they turn 18. The system isn't in use, but it is still in place.

Oh, I'm not advocating for all disabled stalls. I'm just pointing out that the situation is not equal. It is probably the best solution logistics will allow. Sometimes in life we have to wait, whether or not we are handicapped.

She's a bitch. Really, who doesn't use the handicap stall? If there's a handicap person waiting and that stall is open let them go, but she wasn't there before you. There's no reason to wait for another stall on the off-chance that a handicapped person comes in while you're in there.

Unless you're incontinent, then there's no reason you can't wait in line. If you need to use the handicapped stall omgrightnoaw, then ask. But if I'm in line first and you don't tell me you need it, I'm sure as hell using the stall.

i think the point is the disabled woman wasn't in the room when OP went in the stall, OP didn't need to ask anyone because no one was there to ask.
