Today, I really had to pee so I took the only stall that was available in the bathroom: the handicapped stall. A girl in a wheelchair came in seconds later and cursed at me for taking her designated spot. FML

I can understand her being upset if you're not handicapped. but he should just chill out if it was the only stall open what were you supposed to do?

The handicapped chick needs to calm the hell down. It's not like she personally owns the stall. She's not royalty and being handicapped doesn't mean she is above waiting her turn like anyone else. What a bitch. You should have cussed her out back.

Unless the handicapped chick has a bladder issue, she needs to shut the f*** up. I thought handicapped people wanted to be treated as equals any (i.e. waiting for a stall, just like everyone else). I always use they handicap stall because I'm claustrophobic. Doesn't thank count? If she bitched at me, I would have punched her.

That girl shouldn't use her handicap as an excuse to be a B****. That sucks.

Precious made a good point on the discussion on thread number 9. She said that while OP was in the handicap stall (because it was the only one available, and she really had to go) the person in the regular stall may have left. So, the handicap girl wheels in to find (in her eyes) an ignorant soul who could have used the other stall, when in actuality, she couldn't have.

That still doesn't give her the right to be a bitch.

Well, no, it doesn't. But if the above situation was actually the case, I can see why the girl would be so angry. She would have seen it as OP used her stall because she could, and used it just to be a douche. Not because there were no other stalls available.

isn't the only difference a bigger stal?

Bigger stall*, metal bars attached to the wall so that they can hang onto them for extra support, and a higher toilet seat so they don't have to bend down as far. Yes.

Well, if handicapped people want to be treated like everyone else then they can wait for a bathroom stall just like everyone else.

And all stalls should be handicap-accessible. It's a win-win situation. I will enjoy the larger space.

The only problem with doing that is it means fewer stalls, so there will essentially be the same problem.

you should have got in her shit and told her to fall the **** back!

it's not only for disabled people it's not a ******* parking spot it's a toilet. it is just designed to accommodate those in wheelchairs and with other disabilities it does not mean a non disabled person couldn't use it, especially if it's the only stall.

she can wait. we have to wait sometimes so they can too. I'd do the same!

sundayporch 2

Yeah, because EVERYONE who isn't in a wheelchair has control over their bladder.

sundayporch 2

Sorry, but your argument was the exact same - "Some people in wheelchairs have very little control over their bladders." Just like, you know, some people who aren't have little control over their bladders. Just because you're in a chair doesn't automatically mean you are incontinent. If the the person in the chair had to go so badly, she should have acted like a civilized human being and explained her situation. Also, it is not "her" stall. It is a stall that allows her easier access. Handicapped stalls don't work the same way that handicapped parking spots do, contrary to popular belief.

Really? I'd like to see your sources for that bit of information regarding lack of bladder control for people handicapped and not handicapped.

Hey when you gotta go you gotta go... there's no crime in that. it's not like you knew a handicapped gal would need it. Hakuna Matata(:

No! Don't go "aww i took her spot". It wasn't on purpose. I say t bag her. And oh, how does a toilet for disabled people look like? Is it an hole in the ground?
