Today, I received a "diamond ring" in Mafia Wars (a facebook app) from my boyfriend of 3 years. Along with the ring came a message. It read, "Will you marry me?" He was serious. FML

Im sure he has a real ring for you, and btw thats a creative way of asking. I bet he was scared shitless of you rejecting him to his face. Not sure this is an fml. I mean, the guy was being original. It might not be the way you imagined, but try to appreciate the fact that he loves you and wants to spend the rest of his life with you. Times are tough and he might not be able to afford a real ring. Rings may be pretty to look at and a nice symbol but it's not the actual ring that matters. Think of everything he does with and for you in life, does he put love into all of it? That's what matters. Even though it was done online on a facebook app (a really good one too..lol) it doesn't mean he cares any less about you.
