Eh Jesus was Jewish but didn't practice what most Jews today do
Try and find something that you'll enjoy, if you can't then buy books and donate them. Maybe your nana will appreciate the though
There are usually nice gifts at them too.
You'd think you'd be excited about something free no matter what it is.
Did she know you were from different religions, or did she just assume?
Idk what you normally read but Ted Dekker's book are pretty good. More thriller with a christian undertone.
I don't understand why your Grandma would give you this gift... Did you convert to Judaism? Or, are you Jewish on the other side of your family? I'm Jewish on my mother's side of my family (for those who don't know, if you come from a mixed faith family, in the Jewish faith, you take your mother's religion), and my father's family (Irish Catholic) were totally chill. My parents got married in a Temple. I'm curious to know the circumstances behind the gift. My Nana (father's mother, now deceased) used to think this one building was just so pretty because it's was bright pink. It was called 24Karat Gold and was a now defunct strip club.
I agree with 49. This needs a follow up! I am personally a Messianic Jew by faith! My Mother is Jewish and my Father is a retired Evangelical Pastor! So I grew up in Synagogue on Saturday & Church on Sunday! In the end my parents both became Messianic Believers! All my Grandparents love us grandchildren, but this time of year is always tense because one side does Hanukkah & the other side does Christmas! I would personally try a gift certificate exchange website! P.S. Messianic Jews or Messianic Believers (non Jews) believe that Jesus is the Son of G-D! We worship G-D on Saturday & keep all the Jewish traditions!
