Today, I was running to my car, slipped, and slammed my head on the car door. I started driving to the hospital because it was bleeding profusely and I was dizzy, I called my mom to tell her what had happened. She said I was grounded for "goofing off" and that she was "sick of my shit". FML

Today, while practicing my gymnastics routine on the uneven bars, I was so distracted by my teammates' conversation about a party later that I miscalculated my flip and smacked my head on a bar. Ten stitches and a concussion later, I was left alone in the hospital. FML

Today, I woke up in the hospital with a mild concussion, a sprained neck, and a broken shoulder. How did this happen? Earlier, I ran into the guy I used to bully all throughout school. Once his wife realized who I was, she piledrived me. FML

Today, our mom hit my brother's head hard against the wall. He was taken to the hospital with a head wound. He came home in the evening, and said that his mom told him to say that it was his sister who'd hit him with a ball. My brother had told me the story and I'd recorded it on a tape recorder. FML

Today, I ran up to my boyfriend to kiss him when he got home from work. I tripped and I fell on him, and he fell backwards. He ended up hitting his head on the sidewalk and had to get stitches. He also had a concussion. FML

Abusive situations are a different thing. Admitting it very hard due to the fear of getting hit/whatever by the abuser and the internet is the only safe place for the op to admit it, fml is a site to share bad experiences. what happened 30 years ago is different because it is a different time and we didn't know about the mental aspect's of the people. Yes, we teens do stupid shit and most of us are ********'s, but every has their ********'s, not just us, also where at the point between childhood and adulthood. If fml is his way to tell the world about his abusive mom, then let him be. I know how abuse is, I've been mentally and verbal abused before. TL;DR my counter-argument.

WTF happened? This FML needs more information. From what is there it sounds like your mom is a child abuser, so why are you on FML? You should be calling 911 / child protective services / etc. Anyway, F your life but please provide more info.
