Today, I rode my new motorcycle to work for the first time. As I accelerated, I felt a sharp pain in my neck. Apparently, poisonous spiders can actually get trapped inside motorbike helmets. Duly noted. FML

Hey OP here, thanks for all the support guys. Luckily I didn't get into an accident. I was able to come out of the whole incident without a scratch but a massive itchy red welt. The doctor said I'll be fine in a few days time. :)

My first thought was Spider-Man

Obvious solution. Soak your helmet in raid before you ride, every time.

They always say to check your bike and helmets, spiders love to next in your helmet while it's in the garage. Glad you are ok.

Thanks for confirming another one of my (previously thought to be unreasonable) fears about spiders OP. Sneaky little buggers

I hope your okay. While on a motor cycle is not a good time to find this out. Stay safe!

That sucks. Never had a spider in my helmet but got a wasp inside one day while riding with the visor up. Never got that bike stopped so fast in my life

Once bitten, twice shy. Today's lesson brought to you by, the little arachnid that was only trying to tell you he was there.

ohhhh OP maybe you'll get powers and find out it was from a radioactive spider and save the world! ^-^

Aaawwee... But, nobody really wants to be spiderman anyway.. (Apparently, there's an issue with pre-webbing....) Better to stay your awesome self and ride that bike off into the sunset.

I'm glad you didn't crash and die, OP! :)

Damn. Thats scary. I hope it didn't cause you to have an accident.

Spiders are horrifying, idk how you didn't freak out and lose your balance! Here's a nice Note: If you bite it and die, it's poisonous. If it bites you and you die, it's venomous.
