Today, I rushed to a dentist's appointment. Once in the chair, I apologized for not having had the time to brush my teeth beforehand. He responded with, "Ah that's alright, I just took a piss and forgot to wash my hands." FML

I'm probably the only one who thought he probably means dental hygienist, as the dentist only comes by after the dental hygienist has cleaned your teeth.

I highly doubt that's how it is in Zimbabwe. A lot of states in the US aren't like that either.

If dentists can handle scraping out wads of congregated bacteria (a.k.a plaque) from between your teeth, I think they can handle a bit of chewed up food in there as well. :P

You mean you didn't have a quick 30 second to rapidly brush your teeth, knowing someone would be looking at them? Or take the toothbrush with you and brush in the car? Or brush at the dentist? Even though the dentist was kidding YDI.
