To everyone who is calling the wife a shallow bitch, have you considered the possibility that she has, oh what's that called again, uh, a sense of humor? My wife and I verbally spar with each other all the time and we've been happily together for over 13 years. Little playful jabs like that help keep things fresh and interesting. No this goes far beyond just a simple tease. This was flat out saying that she settled for him because she could have done way better had she married younger but she waited and just finally took him as a consolation prize. Yeah teasing each other is one thing. This was completely stuck up and rude. No way around it.
