Today, I sat on an elevator for 10 minutes thinking I was stuck. After waiting awhile I looked at the screen to see what floor I was stuck on, only to realize I hadn't pressed a button so I had just stayed on the ground floor. FML

Oh, that sucks :/ I did that in a hotel once. haha there were two sets of elevators (1 from 1 - 13 and the other from 13 - 26) and I kept asking people "how do you get to level so and so" hahah it was embarrassing

thats not too bad... at least no one saw you

I'm actually more in disbelief that so many people admit to doing it too... Why wouldn't you just try pressing (other) buttons? Or see if the emergency button was on? Or use the call box / button? Yeah... just wow...

aha. tthats funny. 10 min though? thts a long time to just stay there clueless not doing anything.

LOL, this is jokes, your pretty stupid to just sit in a none moving elevator, look before sitting in an elevator, next time.

This happened to me once. I thought I was stuck in there and couldn't get out, so I started screaming and banging on the doors as I cried hysterically. Of course, I was about six or seven when it happened. What's your excuse?

haha this has actually happened to me too. Except I was in the elevator with my grandma and we were too busy talking to realize neither of us had pushed a button.

anybody who has been stuck in an elevator without realizing they nnever pressed the button right is ******* stupid

Someone else would have called the elevator if it had actually been 10 minutes.

i've done that...but um it only took me a few seconds of standing there to realize what happened. "oh damn, didn't push the button yet, derrrr."

Fake. First of all if you were stuck, you wouldve moved then stopped. Second of all if you didn't move at all, you press the button that opens the door to get out.

this is more like a "my life is average," to be honest.
