Today, I saved a bird from being run over as it lay in the middle of the road. Thinking it had a broken wing or something, I started carrying it home, intending to take it to the vet later. It crapped in my hand and flew away. FML

That's how it thanks you. Tsk tsk. This generation of birds are disrespectful.

I have had a similar thing happen. It's because they get hit by something, or have some trauma, and don't have a broken wing or anything, but are stunned, therefore unable to move. Once they can move again, they are terrified of you (perhaps so terrified, they poop), and then get the heck away!

Not sure how this is an FML, unless you're upset that the bird wasn't actually hurt and you couldn't play hero.

So? I have pet birds and get crapped on all the time. It's not that bad. I'm sorrier for the bird, who was probably scared out of his mind. YDI.
