You should take that dime and invest it in a well balanced investment portfolio, preferably a no load fund with low overhead costs based in emerging markets which target solvent balance sheets and low P/E ratios. If you get an average return of 10%, which is very possible considering today's undervaluation, you'll have your $80 back in approximately 74 years. That compound interest baby!! Although that doesn't factor in taxes and inflation....FYL!!
