She'd just fainted. You could have easily outrun her!
Re-read the FML. The OP didn't know she was a danger before trying to help. It was only after the OP approached that the person came to and put the OP in danger..
Basic rule of thumb. Shown a knife, run for your life. Easy peasy. The fact that she had fainted meant she wasn't at 100% for at least a few minutes afterwards. Like I said, outrun her.
I'm pretty sure if that was a possibility she would have. I don't know too many people that say, "hey, look, a knife. I think I'll stick around and see if I'll be in danger or not."
Turn, run, knife in back. When your life is threatened you sometimes stop thinking logically.
Did she really faint, or a ruse? We may never know. Until the 6 o'clock news.
68 - I'm sure the woman got up before pulling a knife on OP. Also, if you knew anything about these types of situations, you'd know that the safest option is always to do what the crazies want and let the police do their job.
No wonder she carries a knife! When she faints, strangers try to grab her. I'd be unstable, too, if every time I tried to take a little nap in public, some apparent do-gooder tries to "help" when all they really are doing is going for my wallet and a cheap feel -- usually both!
After you said "Keep looking" he thought that meant, "Full body cavity search"
SCREAM BOY SCREAM!! *double entendre*
Why would you insist in trying to help her for an entire hour? Just leave her alone and forget about her.
Reread the FML, please.
One hell of a nice person you are, 15..
please, don't comment if you don't know what you're talking about. it angers the unstable fml'ers and you could be burned at the stake. now **** off outta here and don't come back.
Da fuq do you mean by unstable? *twitches*
Yeah. There ain't such a thing. *groans and eats baby brother*
Time to get a gun That's what I've been thinking I could afford one If I did just a little less drinking
drinking right now are we? ;)
I thought someone might ask me that. It's a Miranda Lambert song about someone who considers buying a gun when her neighbors' car gets stolen out of their drive, and when a government official tells her they plan on using eminent domain to take her house away from her. Since OP was threatened with a knife, I thought that she too might be considering buying a gun.
What an American solution...
72, Hells yeah! We rockin' the 2nd amendment up in this joint.
Puts the lotion on the skin or you gets stabbed...
Semi-conscious woman with a knife and serious mental issues? Sounds like one hell of a party. Why'd nobody invite me?
I'll invite you! But first things first. a) Do you enjoy house music? b) If yes, GET THE **** OVER HERE! If no, Knife Party doesn't want you either.
How could have you known? Your heart was in the right place even tho it ended up turning into a hostage situation ....
she wanted to play a game... called, burny burny cut cut...

This is quite possibly the most twisted FML I've seen for a long time.
There are too many crazy people around, but props to you for trying to help.
