Ugh, I hate it when people do this! I went to see it and one of my friends was singing quietly along to some of the songs because it was the second time he'd seen it, and even though he was being quiet it was still really annoying... Even watching movies at home with friends, sometimes they will say "Watch this movie! It's so great!" or "Listen to this song! It's so great!" and then when said movie/song comes on they'll sing over it and I can't actually hear the song itself. x.x Please, only do this if you are alone or if everybody else has seen it at least once! So yeah, you fully deserved it and I would have done the same in his position. Learn from your experience.
