Today, I spent 3 hours looking at a youtube video for how to do rubik's cube. Even after being told how to do it, I couldn't finish it. I scroll down at the comments and read "Awesome! I'm 10 and can do it in 3 minutes now!". I'm 28 and still couldn't get it, even with a guide. FML

Yes you are. You should try a ****** some time. They feel great...

Somehow my daughters 2x2 gives me more headaches than the 3x3 or 4x4.. Because you can't move the corners into different rows. What even. I'm jealous of you, I can't do anything above a 4x4.

I'm 13 and I can do it in a minute an a half. lol.

haha, this sucks, it takes some time, it took me about two weeks to get it, and i am 14. :P i can do it in like... 2m and 30s. it just takes practice, and having the ability to understand algorithms. :D

You really have a lot of time on your hands, don't you?

Don't feel bad, seriously. If you aren't a visual person, it can be really difficult, if not impossible. Watching directions is hard to do like, visually as well as verbally and then putting them together.

10 year olds shouldn't have an account on YT. -__-

@56 I had my first yt account when i was 9

To the people saying that they feel for the OP need to try a Rubik's cube. In the box they give you a set of detailed instructions. All you have to do is solve one side in a + sign. Fill in the corners. Work from the other side to fill in 2 lines (3 rows on each side) and then a little trial and error to solve the remainder. If you can't do it, Rubik's website gives you 3 different ways to try to solve it. Everyone should be able to figure a Rubik's Cube out once they figure out the strategy. If you can't the only reason is that you suck at math and how to rotate a cubic solid in your head.

I do the cross, then corners, then work my way up.. Put the completed side on the bottom and the the middle row, then top row minus the corners, then use an incredibly simple algorithm to complete the corners.

I can solve one, but that doesn't really help you. It just tells you how bored I am on Sundays.

I can solve one in 30 sec. It's real easy. Step 1) Use a screw driver to pry one of the edge squares off. Step 2) Pull the rest of the squares off using just your fingers. Step 3) Pop it back together. Solved

it doesn't matter how old you are, im 14 and my best is 15.29 (in competition its 18.55) its just strategy and memorization, the beginners method is more strategy then memorization for those that don't believe me- http://www.worldcubeassociation.org/results/p.php?i=2008BARG01
