it wasn't your car. that sucks.
wrong car!
So in other words, 15 minutes...?
Reminds me of a video where a guy brushes the snow off a car. When he's done after a few minutes, he pushes the button on the remote and the car next to the one he removed the snow from starts blinking :)
thank you for making my day xD bahahaha
Just the other day, I was waiting on the side of the road for a friend to pick me up. When her car pulled up, I hopped on in and settled into the seat. When I looked over at her, I was about to comment on her new hair color when I noticed she was significantly older and had a horrified 'Don't rob or rape me' look on her face. I tried to lighten the mood by pointing up the road and saying 'Follow that car and don't spare the horses,' but when she reached for the gearshift I realized that might be construed as kidnapping. So I apologized profusely, explained that my friend drove the same car with the same parking sticker and hopped out. Fifteen minutes later I called my friend and she told me she'd asked her mother to scoop me up. If I'd been able to get this story into 300 characters, I'd have written an FML about it.
wait so was it actually her car and her mom was.driving?
Then why would she be horrified? Why wouldn't she tell you who she was when you "explained"? Why would she just drive off when you hopped out?
She was apparently expecting a woman, not me. Sometimes having a non gender-specific name works against you.
One time my grandmother actually got IN the wrong car. And another time, my mum got in a wee car accident so we drove to a nearby Kroger's to meet my dad. In my town, there's a car the same make and color as that one (which is unusual because my car is a fairly distinctive color and we live in a small town), and it happened to be in the same parking lot. My dad inspected the wrong car and declared it didn't look too bad. Don't feel bad.

Not the most observant person in the world, are we?
Quarter of an hour? You spent that long doing that? You would of thought after a while why it didn't make much cents.
