At least they don't verbally assault you with insults and threaten you like my monster of a sister in law does. :/ sorry they're really rude though. Next time, suggest multiple takes with different generations and branches of family. We have over 150 people in only a few generations in my family so that's how we usually handle it. That way there's options for everyone to get the picture they want - and no one has to be cut out if someone is divorced later on.

Pro photographer here. My camera and I were invited to my brother-in-law's for Christmas. I don't mind working for food, but when I arrived at the prescribed time, I discovered everyone had already eaten and the leftovers had been thrown out. My brother-in-law's father posed the group for the photo and left me out. Some people just aren't worth your time.

Don't feel bad, I married in to an Asian Family and it took me 15 years to be included in a family portrait even though they loved me. It was just their way, strange to me but I was happy and still am ! Good luck to you....

I'm sorry OP.. That's horrible. I was included in my boyfriends family's family Christmas photos, I felt really happy. He is my first boyfriend (first kiss too) and his mom likes me a lot :) it makes me feel extra special knowing that she hated his ex :)

That's actually not that bad, it is his family...

OP here- I put who the second person was, but I guess they cut that part out. It was my husbands cousins on-again-off-again baby daddy/boyfriend who got her pregnant in a bar bathroom the very first time they met. I seriously wish I was joking.
