Klassy (with a K!) Run, don't walk, RUN!
Jeez... Was your boyfriend there at the time? I'm sorry... Your boyfriend's parents are real jerks.
Well at least they said thank you....? Lol, that's ******, I'm sorry.
If your boyfriend didn't stand up for you, dump the fool. His family obviously doesn't like you, that was extremely rude of them, tell em' off and never deal with them again.
Haha I agree with the exlax comment. And #103 is right, if your boyfriend didn't invite you to stay, you should dump him. They all sound like ungrateful fools to me.
aaww so rude!!! break up with him!!! ;DD i'm totally agree with #85!! lol xD lmao
I agree with #29! If someone makes me a dinner, I wouldn't invite them in to eat it with me...i'd assume they were going to come in and eat it.
Did you tell them that you made it, and that you wanted to eat it with them (or at least with your boyfriend)? If so, the convention tends to be that you're allowed in unless expressly asked not to (especially if you've eaten with them before), as opposed to having to leave unless invited in.

At least now you know they're not worth expending any effort for.
You should have said "Now that you saw my food I guess I'll be leaving with it, I just wanted to show you how delicious it was!!"
