Today, I spoke to my crush for the first time, and after a while he asked for my number. Ecstatic, I took the first piece of paper I saw out of my purse. I wrote it down and gave it to him, but he handed it back and said, "You might need this." It was an appointment card for my therapist. FML

"Oh, that! I'm in therapy for my nymphomania." He will call. I guarantee it.

That sucks but next time check the paper

It's not like he's not gonna wanna hang out with you because you're in therapy.

"Today, I spoke to my crush for the first time" How could he be your crush if you'd never spoken to him? Unless you base "crushes" solely on appearance...

She could go to the same school/same workplace as him, and pick up on his mannerisms from the conversations he's had with other people around her. It's called critical thinking, genius - you might want to try it sometime.

Well, if that's all it takes for some people to have a crush on someone, then great. But not everyone is capable of that just by picking up on mannerisms. I should have assumed a view from all perspectives. I apologize.

My mother has never met Richard Gere, but she has a crush on him (and not just on his looks, either).

what is it about a crush you don't understand? it's not like it was soulmates.

Nothing wrong with seeing a therapist. it's someone to vent to to help you decompress. Hopefully he feels the same way.

He's not necessarily seeing it as a bad thing. Did you play it cool and handed him a diffent piece of paper?

I am of the humble opinion that *everyone* should see a therapist, at least occasionally, for a 'check up'. Everyone. It has also been my experience that those who feel they don't need it the most are the ones who in fact DO need it the most..... But that's just me.

I believe that to. Everyone can use an unbiased opinion or someone to lend a sympathetic ear. Everyone experiances stress so everyone should consider it when everything piles up on you. Its healthier to let it all out.

Its ok a lot of perfectly normal people go to therapy to help themselves through a difficult time in their life or they need the unbiased opinion of a stranger over a family memeber or friend. Dont fret OP.

Who the hell writes there number on paper? Just put the number into his phone.
